Replacing existing bench seats with articulating (Cessna) seats.

In my past research I was sure I was able to find the STC for modification of Helio Courier bench seats and replacing them with articulating seats. I am looking for a little guidance to locate information on the subject. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Barry.

JAAR,s had an stc for cessna seats There is a 395 that i work on, that used to have 337 seats . They were replaced due the the cessna AD. The seats just do not set at comfortable angle in the Helio. The seat backs broke frequently, other repairs. cessna seats are overpriced Junk . Installed Helio 1400 seats
Better seats and comfortable.
I,m looking for a pair for a 391B.

I have 4 Cessna 206 seats in my 391b.
They seem to be OK but the front seats fit together a little snug. They move freely though.
I am in Mexico until Christmas so I can't look at the info for them.

I have found this though.

Thanks for the information Gerry, I believe JAARS also fabricated their own seat assemblies I have seen them when they where at Airshows. I will give them a call and pick their brain about this a little more. The comment Ray Dorsey sent seems to make sense about the proper angle for comfort. I know all about Cessna seats and the issues they have. Something similar where the seats are more user friendly to adjust. I'll keep researching and networking. I welcome further comments.

Yes Ray I agree Cessna seats have their issues I was very curious how the seat tracks where attached for the proper angle. I welcome and further comments on the subject. The 1400 series seats would be nice if available. I still have the original bench seats I am not without any seats. But I would like to find a better option eventually if their is one. Thanks for your comment.

I wonder the Atlee Dodge Jump seats used in cessna's are an option.

I like the bench. Not many aircraft with a bench seat in it, very unique. It fits me well. I can see if you are needing to haul a bunch of freight and want passenger seat to remove for max CG. I plan on leaving the rear bench out of mine and if some one want a ride they can sit on a lawn chair or beer cooler.
